about donald r. mason
Donald was deemed a renaissance man, dating back to an 8th grade Greek festival at Tates Creek Middle School. This term comes from the fact that DRM is a man of vast talents, skills and interests. Since he was a child, Donald has been a voice performer. His mom claims he was singing jingles before he could talk. Along with a music mind, he has an eye for capturing the essence of music performances and those in the crowd. Through writing, the perspectives are palatable to various audiences. With his bowel rumbling and silky bass voice, Donald has a knack for soulful singing and voice acting.
Beyond the artistic side, Donald is deeply rooted in business ethics, branding, results management, human capital development, workplace morale, corporate development and performance testing.
Currently, Donald is the host of Red Barn Radio Wednesday evenings 8-10pm, board member and Fundraising Chair for the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center, front man for Soul Funkin Dangerous, half of the duo, Fluxbug, part-time volunteer for WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour, community DJ at WRFL Lexington 88.1 FM, hosting "Dream Catching w/ The Doctor on Sunday mornings 2-5am as well as a committee member for the Production of On-Air Promos, and working to expand the offerings of artist development, branding and a la carte style community label offerings for artists.
Donald is for hire as a consultant, photographer, development, voice artist, start up web design, or other business or creative projects. Visit mason cre8s for web design or voice overs.
